The Sunderland Book Project, currently consisting of 66 participants and 58 books will be exhibited in two venues, The McGuiness Gallery, Bishop Auckland Town Hall & The Last Chapter, Sheffield.

Participants to the project kindly donate two identical books to the project allowing the work to be exhibited in more than one location.   Theresa Easton takes the Sunderland Book Project to The Last Chapter in Sheffield as part of her window installation in Sheffield’s small but perfectly formed secondhand bookshop and gallery.

The McGuinness Gallery is open:

Monday – Friday: 10.00am until 4.00pm
Saturday: 9.30am until 12.30pm
Sunday: closed

On show at the McGuiness Gallery until 27th April 2013 The Sunderland Book Project is FREE and encourages audience participation.

  1. Hi Theresa. I am up from the Isles of Scilly again and would love to have a Sunderland book project. I leave to go home on Friday 5 th april is I will miss this exhibition at bishop Auckland.. Is it on display anywhere this week before I go?

      sorry I missed your comment – i am so slow! Its not anywhere else I can think of, next stop Turn The Page Norwich 3rd & 4th May then it is BALTIC 14th &15th June, it will be in newton Aycliffe 4th-24th July @ Greenfield Arts Centre. Hope your visit went well and your family are all ok,
